my first five months (and counting)

"i am the master of my fate
i am the  captain of my soul"
                                                       invictus by william  earnest henley

i never imagine writing and submitting my blog on a deadline.

"Ang buhay ay parang  marathon!" I run, I sweat, I conquer!
Personally  i define blogs  as personal thoughts written on a spontaneous manner with all the inspiration there in.   (no pressure at all) Yet, here am i  sitting on an internet cafe with noisy hyperactive tykes playing, crying and goofing around as if this room turned out to be their extension of the house... Ah blessed are these innocent children!  (where thou art oh concentration!)

But don't get me wrong, the more pressured i am, the endless flow of  ideas come.
Procrastination is my  game! (wink!)

Writing is not my forte.

I definitely read  than write because Mrs. Big Bad Grammar Wolf will huff, and puff and blow me on the face of the earth!  But since  its a course requirement, let me  give it a shot! (finger crossed)

Studying and living alone, far from my comfort zone  is not new to me. I had  my fair  share  of happy and adrenaline-rush moments as well as  a lot of reflecting and connecting on my inner  compass. I admit i had  my dose of stupidity one way or another. I do things on my own pace   and in my own space. Perhaps it is the perks of single-hood.
U-DAY is more fun CPU!

Iloilo City - a home of gentle people and where modern world meets the ancient past. I am fond going around and getting lost in the metro wearing my fearless shoes and carefree  OOTD basics. Fortunately i can still find my way, thanks to the helpful drivers assisting a lost wandered who ventured a road less traveled. I often catch myself eavesdropping on local folks conversation amazed with this distinctive Hiligaynon accent. (I love to learn!)

CPU  had  taught me to be the  best that i can be, to connect  with people  of different ethnicity, to care  for my health, to eat  with gusto, to read books and last on my list to pray harder.

MLIS 601 class taught me to listen rather than be listened at, to understand rather than be understood, to be a leader rather than a manager and most of all to celebrate differences!!

Almost  five months now  and i am still thirsting for more...

PRIDE MARCH ILOILO - Creating a community of inclusiveness
I couldn't  wait as the days unfold  to unwrapped  God's presents of mystery, adventure, discovery and anything in between.

May the God Of Many Colors guide me through!
